My Blacklist

These are companies that I was perfectly happy to use, until they wasted my time. There is nothing that I hate more than having my time wasted for nothing.

• Johnnys Tobacconist - Incessantly sent me emails asking for me to post a review. When I did post a review they didn't even publish it, and still continued to send me emails asking me to post a review. I found another supplier.
• RAC - Forced me to phone them to change direct debit details (instead of online), so I instead phoned them to cancel my service. I had to waffle to them about why I wanted to cancel, after which I spent an additional ten minutes on hold waiting to pay, followed by silence. I hung up and joined The AA
• LinkTree - I spent ages cultivating my personal links, and linking to them as my personal profile, and then they banned me without warning or notification. Absolute bunch of arseholes. Never sending links to anywhere outside my control again!
• TrustPilot - Wasted my time. I was prompted to write a review of a company that I was using, and because I thought they did well on my last interaction with them, I did as they asked. There was nothing at all strange about my review, but some time later TrustPilot sent me an email saying my review was deleted because they could not verify its authenticity?! The email went on to talk about fancy tools they use to determine this. What really made my blood boil was the line "We are confident we made the right call..." I know with abdolute certainty they did not make the right call, and if these methods are what they are using to determine authenticty then there is a large part of humanity that is not represented on TrustPilot. Much like the other companies listed on this page they are shaping a view of the world which is (by omission) false. DO NOT TRUST TRUSTPILOT.
